Leezalee Productions is comprised of Leeza Davidson and Leland Ettinger; two Los Angeles based photographers who put themselves in the picture. Working as a photographic team, they alternately act as model and photographer to create scenarios, becoming both the object and the voyeur. The characters and scenarios they create in this performance based art range from humorous to sad to sexual to violent. The characters become outlets for the artists to experience different emotions channeled through the vast language of image and identity of popular culture. The photograph becomes a lasting document of this experience.
